They are passionate about telling stories from tender moments. Growing up, family has always been an important aspect of their life and they hope to share stories of family and connection through their work. They have a passion for telling stories by connecting to others through each others vulnerabilities. They believes that each and every person has a story that is worth being told.

Sofie has worked as a photojournalist for the PSU Vanguard Newspaper, Hartford Courant and assisted CT-based photojournalism Monica Jorge. During a 2019 weeklong internship with The New York Times, they shadowed photojournalist Michelle Agins and photo editor Stephen Reiss.
